How does certification work at Eucerta?
Many companies want an ISO certification.
But often the path there seems complicated.
Eucerta has therefore developed a process that is simple, digital and clearly structured.
With the Eucerta App companies can carry out a certification step by step.
In doing so, we adhere to the international rules of the ISO standards, for example:
- ISO 19011 (rules for audits)
- ISO/IEC 17021 (rules for certification bodies)
- ISO/IEC 27006 (rules for information security)
These standards ensure that certifications are fair, independent and reliable.

Who is the Eucerta certification intended for?
Our process was developed especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Many companies have good processes, but no time for complicated bureaucracy.
That's why at Eucerta the following applies:
- less paperwork
- clear steps
- digital support
- still full compliance with the ISO standards
The goal is a certification that is understandable, efficient and practical.
How does a certification start?
Getting started is very easy.
On the website eucerta.eu click on:
“Start now”
Then you fill out a short digital questionnaire.
For example, you provide:
- Your company
- which ISO standard you would like to certify
- the desired scope of certification
You can also directly book an appointment for an introduction to the Eucerta app.
What happens next?
Eucerta first reviews your application.
If everything fits, your certification process will be started.
Then we jointly create an audit plan.
This plan describes:
- when the audits will take place
- what the process looks like
- which steps are necessary
Upload documents
In the next step, you upload your existing documents to the Eucerta app.
For example:
- Process descriptions
- Guidelines
- Evidence
If something is missing, the app can support you.
Support through AI
The Eucerta app uses modern AI tools.
These can help you:
- create documents
- improve texts
- use templates
It is important:
The responsibility for the content always lies with the company itself.
The first audit – the quality check
The first audit is called Stage 1 audit or Quality Check.
Here our auditors check:
- are all important documents available?
- is the information complete?
- does the system basically meet the requirements of the ISO standard?
If something is missing, a plan is created together on how the system can be improved.
The second audit – the certification review
The second audit is the certification audit.
It can take place:
- online
- or on-site at the company
The auditors check whether the management system really works.
All results are documented transparently.
At the end there is a closing meeting, in which the results are explained.
Decision on the certificate
After the audit, it is decided whether your company can be certified.
If all requirements are met, you receive your ISO certificate.
After that, surveillance audits take place regularly.
This checks whether the management system continues to function.
How long does an audit take?
The duration of an audit depends on several factors.
For example:
- Size of the company
- Number of processes
- IT structure
- Number of locations
If a company is simply structured, the audit can often be carried out faster.
For example if:
- there is only one location
- few IT systems are used
Who conducts the audits?
All audits are carried out by qualified auditors.
Our auditors meet the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17021.
Many auditors were trained at the Eucerta Academy.
They have experience in:
- Management systems
- Audit methods
- Information security
- Risk management
Furthermore, our auditors undergo further training every year.
Quality and independence
Eucerta operates according to clear quality rules.
Particularly important are:
Independence
Eucerta does not offer any consulting that could influence a certification.
Transparency
Companies know at all times how the process works.
Confidentiality
All information from audits is treated confidentially.
Competence
All auditors are regularly trained.
Our goal
Eucerta wants to make certifications simpler and more modern.
That's why we combine:
- international ISO standards
- digital processes
- modern technologies
This results in a certification that is reliable, transparent and efficient.
