Integrated Management System

One system. Multiple standards. One audit.

Most companies introduce their standards one after another — and then maintain two documentation systems, two audit programs and two calendars. With us, one system emerges that supports all standards, lives in the platform and stays up to date with our AI. Even after the audit.

  • One documentation, one internal audit program, one management review
  • One combined certification audit instead of two separate ones
  • The system stays up to date in the platform afterwards — not in the folder
  • Each additional standard €149 instead of €179 per month

Combined audits genuinely save audit days according to recognized rules

The problem

Two standards, double the work — even though half the requirements are the same

Since the introduction of the common basic structure (Harmonized Structure), ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 42001 have been organized identically. Context of the organization, leadership, planning, support, operation, evaluation, improvement - this appears in every one of these standards, in the same order, with largely the same content.

Anyone who implements them separately writes these chapters twice. Runs two internal audit programs. Holds two management reviews. And gets audited twice. The added value of this duplication is zero.

  • Chapters are structurally almost identical across all four standards

  • Document control, competence management and corrective actions only occur once

  • Internal audits can be combined into a single program

  • Combined certification audits genuinely save audit days according to recognized rules

The solution

This is what an integrated system looks like with us

Six building blocks turn several standards into one system. Choose one to see what's behind it.

01 of 6One set of documents

Common chapters written once, standard-specific parts added as a supplement - each requirement remains individually verifiable.

You write the common chapters - context, leadership, planning, support, evaluation, improvement - once. Whatever a standard additionally requires is added as a supplement and remains individually verifiable. During the audit, the auditor sees the appropriate evidence for each requirement, without you having to maintain a second manual.

The system afterward

The certificate is the beginning, not the end

Result

The certificate

Valid for three years. For it to hold up in everyday operations, four building blocks continue working behind it.

The certification body

Checks all standards in one combined audit, decides independently, monitors annually.

The software

One set of documents with a standard reference to every requirement — across all standards, versioned, with deadlines and responsibilities.

The AI

Structures processes, reports and evidence with you, recognizes which requirement is already met, and tracks via the IMS Radar what has changed since the last audit.

The partner network

Independent consulting for setup and follow-up support — in multiple countries and languages.

We don't advise you and then audit you. Platform and AI are tools in your hands; you are responsible for the content. Where you need real consulting, we refer you to independent partners. That is the condition for our audit judgment to be worth anything.

IMS Radar

The most important things happen between two audits

IMS Radar — Overview. Representation from the prototype; values are sample data.

  • Every document gets its standard reference upon uploadProcedure instruction, evidence, contract — with mapping to the standard chapter and a visible confidence score.
  • Audit readiness as a metricA traffic-light value per standard, with trend. The trend matters more than the absolute value: it rewards upkeep.
  • Changes in the company become questionsNew location, new software, role change, new supplier — the radar asks, instead of waiting for the auditor to ask.
  • Quarterly context checkThree to five short questions, by text or voice, in under three minutes.
  • Audit preparation report at the push of a buttonAll changes since the last audit, organized by standard chapter.
  • Reportable items are flagged as reportableThe radar reminds you of a scope change before it turns into a nonconformity.

The IMS Radar asks questions and provides guidance. It does not formulate standard chapters and does not write your documents. Every note is confirmed by you, never adopted automatically. IMS Radar includes usage-based, chargeable additional services.

Three separate systems or one integrated one: what's the difference?

Three separate systems

  • DocumentationThree manuals, three archives, three version states
  • Internal auditsThree programs, three audit plans
  • Management reviewThree times a year, three times the same data basis
  • Certification auditThree appointments, three preparations
  • CostsFull costs per standard
  • In case of standard changesTrack each standard separately

Which standards fit together?

Five combinations that prove their worth in practice

Open a combination to see who it suits and what it delivers in concrete terms.

Why this combination

Both standards look at the same processes — once from the customer's perspective, once from the environmental perspective. Anyone who has already described the workflows mainly adds environmental aspects and legal obligations for ISO 14001.

Your benefits
  • Environmental aspects dock directly onto the existing process landscape instead of forcing a second system.
  • One audit program, one combined certification audit, two certificates.
  • The classic entry into the IMS — often required jointly for public contracts as well.

How an integrated system is built

  1. Shared foundation first

Context, interested parties, leadership, objectives, document control — written once, valid for all standards.

2 to 4 weeks, for a new build without existing documentation

Written once, valid for all standards

  2. Standard-specific additions

Environmental aspects, Annex A measures, AI system inventory — depending on the standards chosen.

4 to 10 weeks, depending on the number and type of standards chosen

Only the parts that don't overlap

  3. One internal audit program

One plan that covers all standards, plus one shared management review.

2 to 3 weeks, once responsibilities have been clarified

One annual plan, one management review

  4. Combined certification audit

Stage 1 and Stage 2 for all standards in a single pass, with one audit team.

2 to 5 days, depending on size, locations and standard combination

One appointment, one audit team, multiple certificates

These timeframes apply to building a new system across multiple standards. They are not the same as the three tempos in the next section: there, it's about the certification process starting from where your system currently stands. Those already certified or switching from another certification body skip steps 1 and 2.

Even an integrated system doesn't have to take six months

If your systems are already running — for example when switching from another certification body — an express audit is also possible for an IMS. We don't examine more superficially or briefly than others. Above all, we save waiting time.

48 hours

Express

Switching certification bodies or a very tight deadline

  • What happens: Combined audit, decision, and one certificate per standard.
  • Your system already runs across all selected standards. Your documentation is complete. An internal audit and a management review have been carried out for all standards.

Standard

Companies that already have one standard and want to add more

  • What happens: Your documentation is organized with AI and mapped to the standard chapters. This is followed by the combined audit.
  • Your processes already work, but documentation is missing or not yet complete for all selected standards.

2–8 weeks

Guided

Initial certification without preparation

  • What happens: You build your system with an independent partner. This is followed by the combined audit.
  • So far you have prepared only a few rules, procedures or documents. For a full rebuild across several standards, the build times from the section above also apply.

In all three variants, we audit according to the same rules. The time required increases compared to a single standard but stays well below the sum of separate audits.

Do you already have a certificate?

Existing systems can be integrated — even from other bodies

If you are already certified to one standard, we don't build from scratch. We take over your existing documentation, check it against the shared chapters and add what the second standard additionally requires. This also applies if the existing certificate comes from another body — switching at the end of the cycle is the usual way.

Frequently asked questions

Several: one for each standard, individually verifiable in the register. It is the system that is integrated, not the certificate.
