Quality at Eucerta

Our Understanding of Quality

Quality is not a marketing promise for EUCERTA, but the foundation of our work. As a certification body, we bear a special responsibility: We confirm to the market that the companies we audit comply with defined standards. This confirmation only has real value when it is based on an independent, transparent and methodologically sound process.

Our understanding of quality encompasses three dimensions: the professional competence of our experts and our AI-supported systems, the integrity of our processes, and the reliability and transparency in communication with our customers.

We operate on the principle that a certificate only creates added value when the path to it is honest. This means: We simplify processes through technology, but we never deviate from the normative requirements of the respective ISO standard.

Our certification standards

EUCERTA offers certifications according to internationally recognized ISO standards. The official requirements of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) apply without restriction for each standard:

ISO 9001 – Quality Management SystemsThe most widespread management standard worldwide. It defines requirements for a quality management system and helps companies systematically control processes and continuously improve them.

ISO 14001 – Environmental Management SystemsThis standard supports companies in systematically recording, managing and reducing their environmental impact – an increasingly relevant proof for supply chains and tenders.

ISO 27001 – Information Security Management SystemsThe central standard for the security of information and IT systems. ISO 27001 is an indispensable proof in the digital economy toward customers, partners and authorities.

ISO 42001 – AI Management SystemsAs one of the first providers in the German-speaking region, we support companies in achieving ISO 42001 certification – the new global standard for the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Quality assurance in our process

Methodical rigor

All audits and assessments at EUCERTA follow a defined, reproducible procedure. The foundation is always the current version of the relevant ISO standard as well as the associated interpretation aids and guidelines from ISO. Our AI-supported system assists with audit preparation and document analysis, but does not replace the professional judgment of qualified auditors.

Independence

EUCERTA is organizationally and economically independent from the companies we certify. There are no conflicts of interest through consulting services for certified companies. We strictly separate consulting and certification – anyone who acquires a certificate from us has obtained it through a genuine audit process.

Transparency

We clearly inform our customers about the process, requirements and basis of our decisions. Rejections are justified, and customers receive specific guidance on which requirements have not yet been met.

Continuous Improvement

As a company that certifies quality management systems, we ourselves live by the same principles. We regularly review our own processes, document deviations, and derive improvement measures.

Our ethical approach

Honesty before speed

EUCERTA uses cutting-edge AI technology to make certification processes more efficient. But technological efficiency must never come at the expense of content integrity. We do not issue certificates if normative requirements are not met – regardless of economic pressure.

Responsible AI Implementation

We use artificial intelligence in a targeted and transparent manner. Our customers are informed about which parts of the process are AI-supported and which decisions are made by human auditors. We follow the guidelines of ISO 42001, for which we ourselves offer certifications – credibility through consistency.

The AI systems deployed by EUCERTA are operated via the Anthropic API. Customer data is not used for training AI models and is subject to short retention periods according to the provider's commercial terms of use. For detailed information, please refer to our [AI Transparency Documentation].

Data Protection and Confidentiality

All documents and information submitted in the context of audits and certification processes are treated confidentially. EUCERTA processes personal and company-related data exclusively on the basis of applicable data protection regulations (DSGVO, nDSG). Our servers are located in Switzerland.

No "made-to-order" certification

A certificate from EUCERTA means that a company actually meets the requirements of the respective standard. We do not offer certifications that undermine this claim. Companies that do not pass our audit receive no certificate – but rather clear, constructive feedback on how they can achieve the necessary standards.

Accessibility for SMEs

Quality management and ISO certification have long been reserved for large corporations – for cost and capacity reasons. EUCERTA has set itself the goal of lowering these barriers without losing credibility. Small and medium-sized enterprises should have the same access to recognized quality certifications as corporations.
